WELCOME HOME TROOPS CELEBRATION

Thank you Lte. Col Felsch for all the help all week to prepare, set up, run and tear down this event and all the wonderful volunteers of the ARmy Reserve 96th unit.  We were honored to bring this all together with an effort of over 50 people and companies and were thanked by Army Reserve General Cook over Utah and Colorado.

Thank you Amazing performers that wrote songs, recorded them for Radio spots/TV and  sang the most moving Patriotic Welcome Home Troops songs for our military and their families.  Lanternlane and Osmond 2nd GEneration.

Jaden was so thrilled to meet Angela Winston and Angela was impressed with JAden' singing.

Our wonderful Camera team Ken and Linda from Lifelong Memories Films filmed the entire Tribute Concert and will be making a DVD for fundraising for our troops.

Osmond 2nd Generation had the whole crowd including Jaden Bliss, Angela Winston and Denise of LEtters to Soldiers singing God Bless America.

Taylor Audio Crew Engineered an amazing show!! Thanks for the stage, PA System and Sound Shawn and crew.

Our Wonderful 4 groups Pleasant Tree, LAntern Lane, Tae Wells and Jaden Bliss sang the most beautiful Welcome HOme Soldier Tribute Song to our Military and their families. Great job guys!!

These performers worked hard for months preparing for this event and went into the recording studios to record their songs for the soldiers.

What an amazing DAy!!!

Children of fathers serving in Iraq came to write letters to the Troops as well as Hill Air Force Base families. Thank you volunteers from Army Major Michelle Thornell family, Hill Air Force Base and Kelly for helping this effort and maning the booth.Thank you FLash Fox our friend and Mrs. Thornell  Thank you Wonderful volunteers from HAFB for manning the Silent Auction for LEtters To Soldiers.

Maria Howard was honored with a two night stay at Boulder Mountain Lodge and also won two Tickets to Tracy Lawrence and Phil Vasser to attend when her husband returns from Iraq.

A BIG THANK YOU TO THE HARDEST WORKING VOLUNTEER SONYA THAT RAISED OVER $45 WITH THE DART THROWING

Thank you to all the companies that gave items to raise funds and we gave many to our wonderful volunteers from the ARmy Reserve for their hard work.

 

Cricket allowed these military families to call and video email their military service members in Iraq all day.

The Howard kids were excited to call dad in Iraq but he was sleeping. We invited all Military Support NOnprofit Organizations to join us.

Jennie Taylor and Becky Norton of the National Guard 116th Sec. For.  Honored with gifts.

Pam Banta and Maria Howard wives of ARmy Reserve Officers of the 96th serving in Iraq were also honored with trips and gifts to share with their husbands when they return in July.

Dave Osmond's wife and little girl were so proud.

 

Eurest Dining Services on Capital Hill had so much food donated for the fundraiser.

OUr wonderful Army Reserve 96th crew grilled and served up great Cheeseburgers all day!

Thanks guys for all of your hard work to help this event give so much.

Eurest Dining also brought the Pepsi donated drinks.

RAy let us know of a need for a Fisher House for the families of Wounded Soldiers here in SLC and Bonnie, who's son was badly burned in IRaq stayed in a Florida Fisher House and really appreciated it.

Operation Give helped everyone write cards to the troops.

Zrii wonderful fruit drink gave us all the energy to keep going.

Scoopology gave out free Ice Cream all day. Thanks Chase.  Loved the Chocolate Cheese Cake.

Our Friends and Radio Sponsor and MC KBZN and Rick Lindsey gave prizes, and played great music for the public.

 

National Guard 116th families sold T-shirts and Welcomed home their men and women.

Mike's Guardian Eagle Foundation also adorned our Food, Games and Nonprofit Garden with Patriotic Memorial Vehicles in honor of the Gold Star families.
