We have been requested by the family of SSG Kurt R. C., U.S. Army, to honor this Utah Hero.  This will be a multi-part mission beginning Friday, 4 September 2009, with a flag line/flag corridor at the Army National Guard Base on the east side of Salt Lake City International.  We will also provide a motorcycle escort to the Russon Brothers Mortuary in Salt Lake City, UT.  We do not yet have a flight arrival time, please monitor the mission thread below for further updates with staging info.

On Tuesday, 8 September 2009, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, there will be a viewing at the Russon Brothers Mortuary, 255 S. 200 E. SLC, UT.  There will be no advanced staging area but try to arrive at the mortuary by 5:30 pm but save the best parking for family and friends.

On Wednesday, 9 September 2009, funeral services will be at the Utah Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Bluffdale, UT.  The service starts at noon but there will be a viewing beginning at 10:30 am.  The Ride Captain (RC) will decide a staging time and flag line set-up and we will post an update as soon as possible.  Again, please monitor the mission thread for further updates with staging info.

If you have flags for your vehicles, please feel free to display them using proper flag protocol (if unsure, contact myself or one of your area Ride Captain’s).  Flags for flag lines will be provided.
