Has SGT C. been able to contact you yet?
I received the Valentines package that you sent me. Than you sooo much! I picked it up when I was in .... CPT R. is going to send you pictures."
Brownie Troop #723 of Airmont, NY really put a lot on this gorgeous banner going out to the Army Reserve Brigade in Iraq. Signed by them all, with hand prints, "You're The Best" and "Thank YOU" and their troop name. This will hopefully be put up in an area where the entire FOB will see it like the Chow Hall.
Our favorite card maker yet that made 200 of the most beautifully hand crafted 3D cards with her two daughters Brenda Bartholemew and Christine Elliott and 5 grandkids, is Leah of Spanish Fork, Utah. When we needed 200 more cards made on Friday JAn. 29th before shipping them out MOnday Feb. 1st, Leah volunteered and made the most gorgeous cards we have ever seen. Thank you Leah and family for really going the extra mile. The soldiers will really love these cards with special messages inside each one.
And our Schools and Church Groups all over the US as always sent in so many amazing letters and cards that we wish we could show them all for you to read, but here are a few: (If you ever doubt that our kids in America don't value our country, our constitution and most of all our troops, Come read the 10s of 1000s of letters and cards that all say how much they love and appreciate our troops for protecting them). THEY GET IT!!!
These paper soldiers with cards inside the uniform were so great!!
So many great drawings of tanks, soldiers, and great letters
and many more coming.
We are sending out 100s of Valentine's cards, banners and Cocoa Rice Krispie Treat Hearts to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan!!

"I am an
ordained minister in The Christian Church
(Disciples of Christ) - an American, Mainline, Protestant denomination. I've
been a pastor for over 23 years and an Army Reserve
Chaplain since 1995.
I'll actually be in Park City twice in the next few months, but not in July. We have a chaplain conference there and then later a marriage enrichment weekend there as well.
I live in Washington State so it's a little too far to drive on down. Thanks for the invite though. Sounds like a great event.
